| From the beginning .... The first issue of South Georgia Advertising was published on March 31, 2005. The publisher and owner is Kimberly Cooper of Cairo, Georgia.
Kimberly Cooper started out selling advertising for the Day Spring Journal in Cairo, Georgia in 2001. She really enjoyed doing this and was disappointed when the Day Spring Journal folded in July, 2002.
She had a strong desire and a deep passion to provide Grady County with its own shopper, thus the South Georgia Advertising was born the first of March as a 2 page flyer which grew into a 8 page shopper before it even hit the presses. Kimberly gives God all the credit and Glory! She is a strong believer and tells everyone that this isn't her paper ... It's God's paper.
Kimberly started out selling advertising to friends and previous customers that she had with Day Spring Journal. The South Georgia Advertising has continued to grow and she is very thankful to her advertisers for their continued support.
She takes pride in keeping competitive and having reasonable rates. The South Georgia Adverting has an open door policy for all suggestions and we are here to help you with all of your advertising needs.
